TAdviser IT Prize 2024: Awards

During the TAdviser SUMMIT 2024 conference held on May 28, the TAdviser IT Prize awards ceremony took place. These awards aim to highlight significant projects and individuals contributing to the advancement of digitalization in the state and the Russian IT industry. Winners were selected in 12 categories. The Norilsk Nickel project completed in collaboration with RAMAX Group in 2023, received an award in the category "BI Platform in Metallurgy: Project of the Year."

As part of the project, a large-scale migration of analytical dashboards for Norilsk Nickel from Tableau to the "Foresight Analytics Platform," a Russian platform, was completed. The project was executed within tight deadlines and with minimal changes to visualization, maintaining user convenience.

The award was presented to Alexander Rozhkov, Head of Data Analytics and Visualization Practice at Norilsk Nickel, and Alexey Yakushev, Head of Corporate Data Management Service Line at Norilsk Nickel.

"Thank you for recognizing our project. I want to express my gratitude to everyone involved in this initiative," said Alexander Rozhkov. "This is a collective achievement. It wasn't easy, but we managed to transition swiftly to the 'Foresight' platform, sourced domestically, with acceptable quality. To all who are working on projects toward technological independence, I wish you success. We are confident that you will succeed, just as we did!"

"We didn't wait for Tableau to stop working, and within 10 months, we migrated over 100 dashboards to Foresight," added Alexey Yakushev. "We achieved this thanks to the support of our partners and the vendor, and we are ready to share our experience. It's worth noting that this project at Norilsk Nickel is not the only one; it is one of several completed projects of migration from imported products to domestic systems."
