RAMAX International develops interoperability information system
JSC RAMAX International has developed an interoperability information system as part of a large-scale project run by State Company Russian Highways.
The interoperability information system (IIS) enables automated information exchange between toll road operators, supports the business processes of operators involved in that system, and provides information support for settlements.
The project began in November 2016 based on an agreement with JSC Avtodor-Telecom:
- we analyzed best practices in interaction between operators in highway infrastructure and adjacent businesses;
- based on the analysis of best practices and taking specific features of the Russian market into account, we developed an optimal interoperability concept;
- we developed an interoperability agreement and technical procedures for operators and owners of toll roads in Russia and ETS providers;
- we developed IIS, an information system unique on the Russian market, that includes the infrastructure for interaction between toll road operators and owners at the technical and operating levels;
- toll roads in the interoperability system include: M-4 (Don), M-3 (Ukraine), M-11 (Moscow – St. Petersburg: 15 km – 58 km and the Vyshni Volochek bypass at 258 km – 334 km), the Western High-Speed Diameter private general-use highway, and the new exit to the Moscow Ring Road from the Moscow – Minsk federal highway M-1 (Belarus).
